About

Vidyadhara is the brainchild of Jai Rattan Mehra

A Grade XI student at Modern School, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. His fascination with structural development and eye for eclectic interior design comes from a family lineage of designers and developers As the third-generation prodigy of this family heritage, he is an architecture enthusiast, preparing to start his formal learning in the field after school.

Aim for this Mission

Vidyadhara: Innovative Design Thinking is a curriculum compiled by Jai for middle school student he aims to share his skill and passion for creative exploration, mechanical building and scientific design with younger peers.

Source of Motivation

He hopes to give them the necessary tools to encourage them to learn design thinking processes. He would be glad to make design thinking the that illuminates the shared path between art and science, guiding students to maximise the potential and scope of both - art and science - and come up with innovative, constructive results along the way.

Pilot Program at Mission Deep School

Design Thinking

Initiated the outreach by introducing the curriculum and now the interested students have created a design thinking club.

Grade 6-8

Covered the curriculum over 1 week through daily interactions of 90 minutes each.

Field Visit

Conducted a visit to the iconic Golden Temple to illustrate the use of user-centric design thinking in its construction.
